Improvisation

Malin is a keen improviser and after studying folk improvisation at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki they made this an integral part of their practice.

Malin has performed in a number of improvisation led projects including Jason Singh’s plant music quartet for Dandelion Festival in Glasgow 2022.

Malin has learnt from improvisers Anto Pett, Jouko Kyhälä, Maria Donohue, Henry Macpherson and Timo Alakotila.
